Why phosphorus removal products are so expensive?

As a team who has worked in this industry for many years, we are devoted to finding the answer for ourselves and our customers.

However, apart from this one, we ran into more questions: why is the phosphorus removal rate of the existing products so low? Why is a product meant for environmental restoration typically marketed as a luxury product? And most importantly, why is the phosphorus sequestering agent industry think they still can cater to their client’s needs without any technology update and iteration for almost 20 years?

As we delved deeper into these questions, we found injustices, absurdities, and some humor, which inspired us to create a company that our customers are proud to cooperate with.

And so, Eastern Node was born.

Eastern Node was founded on Sep. 29, 2022.

We aspire to establish close cooperative relationships with our customers and to help our customers to create more value at a lower cost.

By cooperating with our intimate partners, we created a phosphorus sequestering agent that breakthrough the bottleneck of the existing technology. It significantly improved the phosphorus removal rate while reducing the production cost dramatically. As a result, we can provide quality products at fair prices.

But we are not stopping there.

We emphasize R&D and keep creating high-performance, environmental-friendly products to address water environment issues, big and small, worldwide.

Xing Wei

Founder & General Manager

Xing Wei, MSc, is the Founder and General Manager at Eastern Node (Beijing) Environmental Technologies Co., Ltd.

Before founding the company, Xing held a variety of positions, including as Chief Engineer at the North China Power Engineering Co., Ltd. for hydrology designing (2012-2018) and as Designer at the Power China Jilin Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd (2011-2012). During that time, Xing has participated in designing and implementing hundreds of projects, including projects in Mongolia, Angola, Kenya, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, and other countries.

Gavin Guo

Co-Founder & Director

Gavin Guo, BSc, is the Co-Founder and Director at Eastern Node (Beijing) Environmental Technologies Co., Ltd.

Gavin managed over five lake and reservoir projects across China before founding Eastern Node with Xing. He was also responsible for the online and offline market promotion of water quality improvement products, creating solid linkages between product users and the Chinese limnological scientific and engineering community.

Zhenhua Sun, BSc, Senior Engineer, is the founder and general manager of Zhanyuan Environmental Technologies Co., Ltd. Zhenhua is also responsible for the company’s R&D and scientific and technological achievement transformation.

Zhenhua is the chief inventor of the Silicon-Based Phosphorus Sequestering Agent. He also wrote eight relevant patents and software copyrights (authorized).

Before founding Zhanyuan, Zhenhua held various positions in China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), a state-owned enterprise, for 12 years. He has successively held the posts of Engineering Director, General Manager Assistant of CECEP L&T Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., and General Manager of CECEP (Shandong) Circular Economy Co., Ltd.
