In March 2023,\u00a0Zeofixer\u00ae<\/sup><\/a>, a silicon-based\u00a0phosphorus sequestering agent<\/a>, was applied to Lake Ziyang in Wuhan for phosphorus reduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ziyang Lake<\/a> is located in the south of Snake Mountain in Wuhan, Covering an area of about 20 hectares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application on Lake Ziyang<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The pre-treatment total phosphorus concentration in the water body was 0.115mg\/L<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the requirements of the local environmental protection bureau, the total phosphorus in the water body should be reduced below 0.05mg\/L<\/strong> after carrying out the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March 2023, Zeofixer\u00ae<\/sup>, a silicon-based phosphorus sequestering agent, was applied to Lake Ziyang to reduce the phosphate concentration in the overlying water and permanently \u201ccap\u201d the sediment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Result of the Application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sixty days after the application, the total phosphorus concentration in the overlying water had stabilized at 0.04-0.05mg\/L<\/strong> (Removal Rate: 65%<\/strong>), which achieved our customer\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cZeofixer\u00ae<\/sup> not only makes the project quality meet our expectations, but also saves at least half of the material purchasing budget for phosphorus sequestering agent.\u201d<\/em> said Mr. Luo, GM of ORCA (Wuhan) Intelligent Technology, who is the owner of this project and used to be a user for conventional LMB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
